COFFEE/LEMONADE VOLUNTEER GUIDELINES

8:45 Service

You will need 1 Decaf and 3 Regular Coffees for this service. Sometimes there are biscuits or sweet rolls left from Breakfast. You can also bring some cookies. I always stop by the Parish Hall to see if there are leftover biscuits, etc. The Breakfast Angels are good about helping make the coffee.

I find that it’s less stressful to get the coffee set up before the service, instead of afterwards.

After Church School, or about 10:45, you will need to gather the dirty mugs, trays and empty carafes. Use the cart and take them down to the kitchen via the elevator. Hopefully the Breakfast Angels have left the dishwasher on. Get the mugs washed and return them upstairs.

11:15 Service

My experience has been that we don’t have many coffee drinkers after the late service. I threw out 3 carafes of coffee last week. My suggestion is to use the coffee that is left from the early service, (to have at least some Regular coffee.) Clean up the coffee station and set the cleaned mugs out.

After the service and “coffee time”, take the carafes and dirty mugs to the Parish Hall and clean them. Store the carafes. Drain the dish washer (instructions on front of washer), turn off fans and lights, and return mugs to upstairs.

If you have any questions, call Suzanne Muckerman (678-560-0488) or Liz Rea (770-971-0883).

LEMONADE/COOKIES Starting 4/13. I’ll send guidelines in another email.

Thank you for your ministry. Our coffee and lemonade service allows people to gather and meet and greet. It is part of the ministry of hospitality that nurtures relationships within our Parish family and gives visitors a way to connect with us.

God bless you, Liz Rea (scheduler)
