Glasgow
This morning, most of the kid’s woke up for the 4:15AM sunrise! It was a beautiful sunrise over some hills! Once it was it looked like it was about to set because it was going into the clouds and getting darker! Well, many of us decided that we wanted to go back to sleep before we head off to our 6:45AM ferry!
On the Ferry from IONA
Waiting for the Boat ride on Loch Lomond

We all made the ferry on time and had a beautiful bus ride! We caught the big ferry and saw ‘Driver Dave’ once again! We drove up to Loch Lomond and ate lunch at a small convenient store with filled rolls (sandwiches)! There was a little boat ride we took on the loch for about an hour! It was very short and didn’t see much! But there was a little fun we had with these guys that were on the same boat! One was 15 and 17 years old who were from Cleveland, Ohio! No, no one went up and talked to them because we were all chickens! Liz just happened to talk to their parents! We were so close to sending Claire to go talk to them but then the boat ride was over! It was all very kool!

Stopping on Loch Lomond’s shore
At Glasgow Cathedral
After the boat ride we went into Glasgow and saw the Cathedral.  The traffic was awful…just like Atlanta. The Cathedral and museum next door were interesting.  Then we headed to the hotel! Man, this is the nicest hotel we’ve stayed in the whole time! It was so kool because they had pink light and just very modern with furniture and lighting! We ate dinner which was amazing too! Dave the Driver was having a lot of fun flirting or as they say chatting with the waitress! He’s a very funny man! Well, we debriefed about the whole trip and just had a good last night!    Tomorrow morning everyone leaves….Sara Alison goes to Paris to visit with her aunt; Erin and Tegan head to Nice to meet up with their mom and aunt; Liz stays in Scotland with John Rea.  Everyone else heads back to Marietta. What a trip!!
