Heifer Projects "Fill The Ark" offers individuals and families an opportunity to learn about-and offer a helping hand to- families across the globe. Their daily mission giving program offers real-life solutions to world hunger and show that one person, one family , one congregation can make a difference in today's world. As you fill an ark with money you've saved, you'll learn how your gifts can share God's love and end human suffering around the world.
Heifer
Project is teaching Peruvians how to transform worthless, clay-filled hillsides
into rich garden soil. How do they do this magic? By collecting vegetable
waste and feeding it to earthworms which transform the soil into rich compost.
Since
it's beginning in 1944, the Heifer Project has helped more than 4 million
families in need. All gifts are considered a gift to its total mission.
The project provides 20 or more types of food and income-producing animals
and intensive training in animal
management
environmentally sound farming and community development in 118 countries.
