The congregation is lead by Ministry Teams to carry out the program and ministry of St. Catherine’s. Standing and ad hoc committees and task forces are formed as needs and activities arise. Persons interested in serving on teams or committees should be willing to give of their time on a regular basis, be willing to attend a variety of meetings and enjoy working as a team.
Please see the sections of this booklet for the activities and committees which fall under each Ministry Team. Contact the Ministry Team convenor or committee chairs if you are interested or have any questions.
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
This is a directory of the many ministries we offer and participate in at St. Catherine's. Ours is a diverse and vibrant community of faith filled with many opportunities to be involved in the work of ministry in the name of Christ. I encourage you to look through these opportunities, to call the contact person, learn more about the ministry and select one or two ways you can offer your gifts to this body of Christ, our local community, the nation and the world.
We continue to explore ways of being faithful to our call to serve. I am convicted that serving one another is the way we best come to know Christ. It is when the Christ that dwells in you meets the Christ that dwells within me that I come most fully to know and explore my relationship with the living God. When we serve one another and our fellow brothers and sisters in the world we are serving Christ. And when we serve Christ we come to know the love of God which resides in each of us.
Our new facilities continue to provide opportunities to expand existing ministries and to discover new opportunities awaiting us from the many persons we do not even know right now. We are just learning what is possible through our hearts, minds and hands as they work through these buildings and in the world. I invite you to tell us of your passions and to lead us into even more faithful responses to the call to serve one another.
As we begin this year my prayer is that we will continue to be faithful to the call of God to serve in the name of Christ. My hope is that we will together continue to examine and initiate new and exciting ministries. Won't you join us in this exciting and life-changing servanthood?
In Christ’s name,
