| A note from Brian:
What a beautiful drive through God's creation we had
today. Loch Awe was aptly named...we saw salmon leaping in the river, and
waterfalls pouring down the steepest hills I've ever seen. It's beautiful
here.
More importantly than anything, I see *us* changing, as
we worship and travel together in community. Many of you have traveled
with a group before; you know how challenging it can be at times. I see us
trying to be Christlike; and more often than not, I see the Holy Spirit making
our efforts bear fruit. God has provided for us.
I'm in Oban this afternoon, and we are surrounded by
views of the sea. It's easy to see why Celtic spirituality found God so
often in nature. Continue to pray for us as we grow closer together in
this beautiful setting; that our inevitable squabbles and disappointments would
remain opportunities to love each other more, and that our joys and delights
would focus us more purely on the reasons we're here.
In Christ,
Brian |
