Welcoming, Accepting, Nurturing, and Serving
Wow! This year’s Rally Day procession was an incredible display of the growth, diversity and tremendous participation in our St. Catherine’s mission and ministries. The enthusiasm that each and everyone one of you brings to God’s table each and every Sunday and throughout the year makes this community in Christ very blessed.
The Stewardship Committee invites you to join us in celebrating who we truly are as a family. It was an incredible journey as we reviewed the responses so many of you, the people of St. Cats provided. We asked: What do you love about St. Catherine’s? What are you thankful for at St. Catherine’s? What common theme could we use to illustrate the things that brought us here, bring us back and sustain us as we grow and move forward in God’s work. You said simply but powerfully that we are: Welcoming, Accepting, Nurturing and Serving. And as such, we choose this as our theme…your theme for Stewardship 2009.
Welcome to St. Catherine’s 2009 Stewardship campaign! I t will be a bit different, but different only in delivery not content. But change is good…right? As with any change in presentation, some will feel comfortable with it while others may not. We understand that and will make every effort to assist in making everyone comfortable. We urge you to give it a go. View the Why Stewardship Video and see the St. Catherine’s community that you participate in day in and day out come alive. Click on the link for Time and Talent Pledge Card and give generously of your time and incredible yet diverse talents. View the Letter from Father Jim as he outlines his thoughts leading into this Stewardship 2009 season. View the 2007 and 2008 Operating Budgets to get an idea of where we are financially. View Our Vision and Our Financial Priorities for 2009 to get an idea of where your vestry sees the need for us to grow financially. Then click on the 2009 Giving Card - Treasure link, view, print and complete your pledge card, continuing your own commitment to give generously to God’s work and the work of St. Catherine’s.
The Stewardship Committee invites you to attend a September Stewardship Luncheon (September 7 or 28) or October Dinner (October 12). Together, we can faithfully and with fellowship consider our future as we give thanks to God for the abundance we share. We also enthusiastically thank Father Jim, Jan Potter, Ben Frost and countless other “players” who invested many talents and many hours in making this campaign presentation possible.
Yours in Christ,
Stewardship Committee

| Almighty God, whose loving hand has given us all that we possess: Grant us grace that we may sow the seeds of your love and mercy continuing to bloom in your light, and, remembering your call to servanthood, may give to bear fruits of the kingdom, nourish our roots, and deepen our knowledge of your good rewards, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
